well, yeah how did you get your car...went to the dealership and bought, online, from a friend or just a lucky find and ho wlong have you had it?

me, well my friend bought a civic si and fixed it, orginally had a theft title, he rebuilt it and put a basically new b16 in it (52k at time) new seats, brakes etc etc...so pretty much a new used Si Lol, i saw him rebuild it thru all the phases, even went with him to buy the motor.....then he decided he was gon sell it and let me buy it for 8k.....so i sold my hatch for some money and got a loan to buy this....so here it iz ( this was about a year ago this month) .....

asking price 5995, got him down to 5500. then they take it to our mechanics to check it over and bring it back the next day and the guy says he never said 5500. but with some words from our father he went back to 5500.

I went to him knowing what i wanted...and I let him know I knew how much the car was worth.. I may be a girl but im not ganna let someone try and screw me because of it..

buddy i knew had the car (white hatch) with a GSR swap in it. He called me one day and said the timing belt broke and the car wuldnt run. I asked him if he check his adjustable cam gers to make sure they didnt slip, he said he didnt look, was done with the car and that i could come get it. I paid $3500 for it, with the GSR swap, 4pt cage, hondata, skunk2 coilovers, si wheels etc. i pulled the valve cover and sure enough the AEM cam gears slipped and went full advance. i moved them back to ZERO and cranked her up and drove her off

Well, I was going out to buy a Scooby but insurance turned out to be freakin ridiculous so I tried to come up with another car i had always wanted, wanted something practical and shit for college. Randomly thought Id see if there was any Jeeps I liked in my area (i know, NOT pracitcal!), went on autotrader and the first one I clicked on i fell in love with. Turned out to be at Hayes Jeep down the street from my house (great dealer btw). It was used, 12k miles, was a Jeep employees lease vehicle. Drove it around for a little while without the sales guy (old man who was real nice) and then when i went back I made an offer. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.

literally went from dealership to dealership cause I guess they couldn't see a 23 year old buying a G35 so I couldn't test drive without a credit check.. even when I went to check out STi's and Evo's I got the same treatment.. said f*ck it, found the car I wanted at carmax and paid cash. (which ended up being a fully loaded black G35 coupe)

He had an 83 Starion, not running... about to be towed for being parked improperly.
