Oh, everybody KNOWS what I think about both of those guys. They are racists. No different than a KKK member. Racism is an idea, not a color. It never has been, never will be. Even in the darkest Africa or the Whitest Norway there is "racism" towards people that are different. The ironic thing that most Black racists don't care to know is that Blacker than Black Africans had their own "slaves" and dealt in the "slave" trade. Not all "slaves" were torn from their families back in Africa like in Roots. Yes, it happened, but not ALL "slaves" came to the New World that way. Some were indeed traded by their BLACK owners. Jesse Jackson needs to be shot. Al SHarpton needs to be shot. ANY situation they can turn into a race problem, they will. They went through the struggle? Let me help you out some. They wouldn't have HAD to go through the struggle if:
A: Their forefathers went back to Africa when they were given the oppurtunity.
B: Blacks hadn't fought willingly against the north during the war for slave freedoms.
C: Other Africans hadn't sold their ancestors into slavery, who did they sell them too? The white man?? Nope, the Portugese, then the Spanish. The first white slaver to buy African slaves came along over 150 years after the first Africans were sold (by their own people) into slavery.
So if Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and all the rest of the Black race want to point fingers, point them at the right people. The Portugese, the Spanish and themselves.
But oh no, it's never easy to read history. It's always much better to grow up in a sociaty that perpetuates it's own ignorance by believing that somebody owes them something and by having 9 kids and living in government housing they are somehow "Beating the man". The best part is that anyone that educates themselves and escapes that way of life is ridiculed.

why does every race thread ends up with people talkin about jesse jackson, and al sharpton, they are far from any voice of us. they jsut get all the tv time..and pictures..
the main issue goina round today racially, is mostly from people trying to make a better image of themselves. And stick together and dont set ourselves back, by working together instead of against each other. The only time black people really stick together is when its from a race related issue towards us, going at other people. When it shoudl be like that all the time.
IMO Al Sharpton honestly believes what he says. Right, wrong or indifferent I can respect a man for speaking on what he believes. However, the most dangerous place on earth is between Jeese Jackson and a TV camera.
Actually, they ARE the voice of you because they do get the TV time. Most people watch TV, and those two bozos do whatever they can to splash their images all over the TV. Unfortunately, your face isn't on the TV so I have no clue what your views are, but 99% of America knows what Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons views are because they are rammed into our retinas daily. They cloak their own racism and bigotry by pimping the black race every chance they can get to further their own ambitions.
There has been a change by alot of youth over the past 10 years. I can see a difference from when I went to school in how young black people think about things. More of a positive note, more are educating themselves and striving for better and better things. It's actually a multi-racial shift. All races have done this. But there are still those out there who still see "The man" as the cause of all their problems. That's where the "Reperation" idea came from. It's mostly supported by those who can't stand on their own.
