    Many people who unlocked or so called "jailbroken" the ipod touch are having problems like lagging alot or just not turning on anymore.

    How long is the lag if you never use it again? Slide the bar.... See what happens. The worst that could happen is it doesn't work.... That's better than looking at it wondering if it will work.

    DONT hack it. I have an iphone and every time you plug it into your computer (inluding the ipod touch) it forces you to update it, which includes "bricking" iphone/ipod touch's from hackers. So if you do hack it, sooner or later it will turn into an "ibrick"

    What do you mean by turn into a ibrick? So I wont be able to use the ipod touch anymore?
