I wouldn't brag about it being from there. PTC and Tyrone are nice, and I used to hang out over there a lot, but I grew out of that as soon as I realized Fayetteville bites.

It's funny you mention cops because I've lived here my whole life: grew up in fayetteville, lived in tyrone and peachtree city and just recently moved to newnan/sharpsburg. everyone has always bitched about how bad ptc cops are, but i lived there for 10+ years and have never been harrassed. i moved to newnan about a year ago and have been pulled over twice for no reason. AND, if you think there is nothing to do fayetteville or ptc, then def. don't come to coweta county...
Im not a huge fan of the area myself, nothing to do. Actually I wanted to know if anyone knows of anything to do in Fayetteville. Im home on some weekends but Im actually livin up in GATech.
There is one thing you can do there. If you take Hwy 85 about 4 miles or so North, you'll be in Riverdale. It's not much better, but you won't be in Fayetteville. Lolol.

lol. There's all of the same stuff to do in Jonesboro, Newnan, Riverdale, Fayetteville, Brooks, and Peachtree City and thats a big total of nothing. Go waste a day driving golf carts in PTC and then at least you feel like you accomplished something other than sitting around.

If you're over 21, Tavern 74 in PTC is prob the best chance at having fun on the weekend around here.
I must say Fayetteville pretty much sucks. Lived there from 97-01 when I graduated HS from there. I have never looked nor really gone back except to see my parents. the best thing that I have ever done was get the hell out of there. There is NOTHING to do there and you are not missing anything when you leave.

Unfortunately, Im just far enough away from PTC that I dont have a golf cart. therefore, theres nothing. Ha, but it seems like we do have some Tech people on this site. So many nice cars up here it figures.
