So as u peeps no i just got engaged but now when i get back i have another problem my ex is pregand i am pretty sure after speaking to her mom it is mine would any 1 have any advice on how i could get this kid as soon as it is born and have full custody?

And i told my fiance everything she of course cryed all night but she is a little more understanding than most girls and she wants to help me but i don't no what i rly need to do 1st.

Honestly....I'd try to sit down with your ex and talk it out. Ask her what she has planned. Can she support a baby at this time? Also, gettin full custody would be kinda hard, I'd look into joint custody, wether its an agreement u 2 make, or the courts make

You're wise to not try to fetch advice from here, man. Get in touch with a lawyer. Quickly. I can tell you this, it is hard as **** to do what you want. Not only do you have to prove she is incapable or endangering, but there has to be a lot of proof. Not just, "she doesn't clean the house" and some ****. There is a lot fo things to consider...time, money, background, everything. You can't just walk in there and say I want my child and expect an iota of an OK. Later, QD.

A) Getting full custody is a SLICK SLOPE homey. That should be a plan "c" and should be done "over time" - bulding a "paper trail" of evidence to present to the court. And REAL evidence, not "well I heard that she smokes pot" - but more like "here is a public police record of her going to jail for smoking pot multiple times." Not "she sucks with money" - but "here are financial records of the accounts that we have shared" or "here are receipts from me getting her lights turned back on bc she is not financially stable." Not "I heard that she can't get to work on time", but "here is proof from her last 3 jobs that she was terminated from due to her inabilty to get to work on time due to no transportation" - etc.
2 - You DO NOT want the court into your personal life unless there is NO other way. The system is BROKE, and always will be. The court wasn't there when yall were f*ckin' and why women (mostly) and men choose to go that route is beyond me. BE AN ADULT about it. You talked things out before - talk them out now.
X - I'd be kinda suspicious about her not telling you until you told her that you were engaged - that's a little fishy. I mean 5 months b4 you found out?? What was her plan b4 she knew that you were engaged, to not tell you at all?? Her "mom" is hardly proof that it is yours. The kid has rights to know who her father is (and not b/c her mom SAID so, but b/c DNA proves it) and if money is gonna be coming out of YOUR pocket - then you deserve to be 100% sure as well. DO NOT - I repeat - DO NOT sign the birth certificate until paternity is proven or you just f*cked youself in the a$S HARD (ask me how I know).

bruh I was just about to say.. her being 5 months and not telling you and springing it on you when you tell her that your getting married to someone else would bring up alot of red flags for me... for the simple fact she's 5 months into the pregnancy already and didnt tell you at all... please get a blood test

1. Sorry to hear about your situation....
2.You're not married to the mother of your alleged child. In the state of Ga, if a child is born out of wedlock the alleged father has ZERO legal rights to said child....
Unless the mother is going to be agreeable and work with you as far as custody and child support is concerned, all that you can do is attempt to establish paternity ...You will have to prove by way of testing that the child in question is yours. Assuming that the tests results prove that the child is yours the next step would be having the court put you on child support and you will also have to petition for visitation rights.......
Unless she is not fit to be a mother and this has to be proven, she will retain full rights to the child.....
In your situation, an attorney would be a big waste of money, to be quite honest, unless you know concretely that she is a drug user, that she would put the child's life in danger, etc.....

YOU DO NOT WANT THE COURTS IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE MAN!!!! OR YOUR POCKET!!!!! TRUST ME!!! The 2 of you can establish paternity out of your own pocket and set your own terms for visitation and support. Do NOT proceed legally unless she keeps the child from you altogether - which she OBV is not gonna do since she is already telling u that it's yours.

While I agree that handling the situation out of court would be easier and a hell of a whole lot more convenient, if she were to deny him visitation rights, he would have to go about the proper legal way of doing things....Not only that but it also avoids her trying to stick him for back child support...I would rather have everything documented.............
You can document things between ea other - doesn't take a court to make arrangements w/ a contract. But I def feel where you are coming from.

Well she say's there is no way she is going to court about it and i don't even got to worry about it just as long as i c the kid i am good.
Now if this goe's like she said it is to keep from her getting mad at me in the future and going to court for back support the things i would need to do to make sure that every $ i spend on the kid i have proof for and what else do i need so that i would have proof i was taking care of my baby?
No - a verbal agreement = he-said she said. Just sit down w/ her, come up w/ a fair amount - as well as visitation - u can get ur lawyer to help word it right - notary, and sign.

she can be on crack, or be a whore and still have the kid.. it takes both for the father to get custody....
