    Default question about DUI

my friend got a ticket for....
    -DUI
-Minor in possession of alcohol (2 tickets)
    -wreckless driving
    -Going 80 in a 55 speeding ticket

this is all within two months.. and apparently one of the MIP will be dropped... he is 18 years old.. what should he expect at court? does it matter how good the lawyer is?

oh and by the way, this is on top of previous tickets for speeding and following too closely.

lawyer is a waste of money, trust me.

my dui ended up costing me about 3,000$ total

    lawyer fee's included.

get a court appointed lawyer & take what they give you.

You must've had a crappy lawyer, LOL!

A good lawyer (which isn't cheap) is worth every penny.

Get a lawyer, trust me. Whatever you do, don't get BBanks357's lawyer because apparently he sucks, haha. Cheap lawyers = waste of money.

And yeah, tell your friend to lube up, and maybe he'll learn from his mistakes when they take his license for a long time, pile up the fines, and possibly throw his dumb ass in jail to give him a taste of what hes asking for driving drunk before he's even old enough to have a beer lol.

tell your friend to bend over and grab his toes, and don't clench his butt cheeks.

That's the most ignorant thing I've read in this thread.

A good lawyer will get you out of anything. A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G!

It's not a matter of the charges he's got, his outcome is completely dependant on how good his lawyer is. I see this crap on a daily basis.

I've seen an underage girl get a DUI and a slap on the wrist and the very next week got another DUI and crashed through someone's yard, taking out their fence and into a lightpole and she is still driving.

Guess what, she had a great lawyer.
