Default IA workout crew... v. think you can handled the "300" crucible test?

    http://www.gymjones.com/knowledge.php?id=35

Think you can handle it? From the Movie 300.

The workout gets it's name from the total number of repetitions.

The second misconception surrounds the idea of the Spartan workout, aka “300”, how frequently it was done or who actually finished it. “300” is a one-time test, an invitation-only challenge undertaken by those deemed ready for it. By the end of our four-month project 17 people had done the workout (Logan and I were two of them). This constitutes about 50% of the cast and stunt crew. We supervised every test, evaluated each rep for quality and only counted those that achieved our standards for form and range of motion. Like many workouts “300” is not hard once you've done it but the apprehension built up ahead of it ? something we encouraged ? was enough to make some guys fear it to the degree that performance was compromised. This workout was a crucible that some passed through and others still have hanging over them.

    1) Pullups - 25 reps

    2) Deadlifts with 135lbs - 50 reps

    3) Pushups - 50 reps

    4) 24-inch Box jumps - 50 reps

    5) Floor wipers - 50 reps- Wonder what floor wipers are?

Lie on the floor holding a 135-pound bar straight overhead.
Keeping your legs straight, touch your feet to one plate, lower them to the floor in the center, and then raise them up to touch the other plate, that's one repetition.
Try it yourself, but with an empty bar first, raising your feet until they're about 8 inches away from the bar (since there's no weight plate to touch).

    6) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 36lbs Kettlebell - 50 reps

    7) Pullups - 25 reps

There's no rest between movements and the score is based on total time.
One actor was timed at 18 minutes 11 seconds

yea, as long asyou keep going your adrenaline will kick in and you'll have the strength to finish. just like any workout if you're in good enough shape to handle it.

Couldn't do it now (the beer owns me) but 2 years ago I could have. I'm going to start working out again.
