He builds muscle by simply walking and crawling
I'm saying all this because i've done my fair share of research for my degree and the drug issue is much more prominent than even the little "inside" reports on HBO let on.

Homeruns are more about physics than "timing". I know from hitting quite a few that I certainly didn't hit all of them on the nose or right at the perfect time. I did swing hard as shit, i.e. bat speed. This is why light aluminum bats are easier to hit homeruns with than heavier wooden bats. It's more of a physics problem, combined with hand eye coordination, that let's you hit them over the fence. So don't try and pawn off this BS that Olive Oil can hit them over the fence as easy as Popeye if she has "good timing"....Where exactly do you think bat speed comes from? Not from being a weakling, that's for sure. This is where steroids help the cheater. They could always "hit" the ball, just not hard enough to get AS MANY HR's. They cheat to get that extra edge to hit 60 now vs 35 before.

I'm willing to bet money that if we drew a chart that followed Barry's SIZE increase and put it side-by-side with the number of HR's he hit per season.....the charts would be mirror images of each other. So don't try and say that size has nothing to do with hitting more HR's.

Steroids aren't dangerous because of the muscles it builds, but the side effects in getting there. In other words, Aaron has neither the tell tale signs nor the after effects that would certainly affect someone in his age if he in fact had abused steroids.
Personally, I believe that Aaron not only never used steroids but he also didn't need them to achieve what he did. If after 50 yrs in the "bizz" noone has been able to find a kink in his armor, they never will. Look at his stats. Like any NORMAL aging player, his HR's dwindled year after year after he got older and just before his retirement. Look at Bonds, Mcgwire, Canseco, and the rest of the roiders in comparison. They hit some HR's every year, then SUDDENLY their HR totals SHOT STRAIGHT UP AFTER they got OLDER????? Ummm, it doesn't work that way, period. We don't get stronger as we age. We don't get better hand eye coordination. We don't suddenly make that much better contact with the ball either. Look at pure hitters like Gwynn, Rose, Ichiro, A-rod, Ripken JR, Robinson, Clemente....they had/have better hand eye coordination than any player today. It's not about just plain "contact". It's about bat speed and power when you're talking HR's.
BTW, I think Sosa was saucing too, but got spooked with the whole Mcgwire and corked bat thing and has stayed under the radar. Look at his stats too. He matched Mcgwire HR for HR for several seasons, suddenly now he's not ever in contention anymore?

Mark McGwire probably did take steroids. Mark McGwire also got PASSED UP during his last eligible ballot for the the Hall of Fame, dumbass. He is NOT in the Hall of Fame and he has gotten a TON of flack from everybody about his steroid use and pleading the 5th when he testified in front of Congress. BTW, I thought this sounded funny, so I checked. It certainly is NOT legal. Neither in Baseball nor the general public. The FDA banned Andro back in 2004, and few days later the MLB followed by adding it to the list of banned substances. So it is certainly NOT "legal" in any sense of the word. It is a performance enhancing drug. It promotes the boost of Testosterone, which is exactly what steroids do. It may be milder. It may have been at one time available OTC, but not now. If someone was on it before the ban, they could possibly have a slight argument that since it was available OTC it shouldn't be considered "bad", but even that is now moot.
I personally think it's cause Barry Bonds is black. I mean, EVERY black pro athlete that breaks the law is automatically innocent and is only being persecuted because they are black. Laws just don't seem to apply to black athletes. Lets get it straight.

personally i think if they are gonna test for steroids they need to test EVERY1 every month...... there is the possibility that has testosterone was low and his doc put him on the cream, my stepdad has to use the cream, and sadly i have to inject myself every 10 days right now, but thats by prescription!!! if he got the prescription and didnt need it then they need to go after his doctor
