how is this thread racist, nobody said that black son of a bitch is gonna break a record, he must be on roids.. and yes mcguire did get shit back when he was breaking the record, now a days anytime somebody breaks a record there is usually something expected (such as cheating, using roids etc).
my honest opinion on bonds is hes not the only guy using roids in the mlb(if he is), and since hes about to break a record people give him shit.

But that's like saying Mike Dick leaves the pocket late and runs around the D for a touchdown but if BigBen/Brady leaves the same time chances are he's not gonna get a touchdown. STRENGTH is too much of a contributor to HRs. You didn't see Pete Rose or Ichiro Suzuki wacking out HRs left and right, and those two had the best timing in baseball.
