I was at walmart when I came across a free Georgia hunting magazine that listed all the hunting rules, locations of wma’s and animal seasons. I looked at the seasons and almost all of the animal seasons are in the winter. Then I came across squirrel season… August 15th is when the season starts. Let me know if anyone else wants to go. Now normally I shoot squirrels year round, but I figure I'll be a legit hunter for once and get a license for $10. That way I can go on WMA's (wildlife management areas) and roam thousands of acres of land, shooting as many squirrels as I wanted. The biggest caliber you can use is a 22lr, but thats fine because I have a damn good one. (CZ452 bullbarrel + Nikon Scope) and rather then me shooting squirrels with my 22 in my yard then running in the house and grabbing the pellet gun inorder to trick neighbors. I can legally just roam around and shoot. Im gonna go to the Allatoona wma some time between august 15th-20th, so lmk if you want to join in on the fun.
