    Default cingular text messages

    does anyone have/had issues with getting/sending texts? about 5-6 times a day my phone says "sms service initializing"... wtf i dont get it ... it may be something with my settings .... help please

    Ya... I got a problem with text messages... it's called, people use them too damn much. I get charged 10cents each for people that are just too stupid to just call... this girl the other night was just sitting at home bored and decided she'd start a text message conversation with me. so... please, unless your in a place where you can't talk on the phone... dont text message me. Gracias.

    i believe james had that problem - call their customer service and they can restart your messaging thing. We did that after james' texts were coming to me like 20 times each.

    I have Cingular and I have never had a problem with it. I sent almost 2,000 messages last month. I am a text "message whore"...

    It may be your phone.

    i know i send a bunch too .... im not sure whats wrong ...i love cingular they are great but i cant figure out whats going on.... the phone i have sucks.. im about to get the new sony erricson phone... its hot

    if you are sending to Tmoble phones that could be why...Cingular and a lot of other company don't get along after a certain time period. Key why some people don't ever get the messages that you send them or you dont get the replys til hours later....my dad works for cingular which is why I say that.

    that makes sense... but i cant even get it to go to the text message screen... wont let me write them or recieve them.... its strange... think its my crappy phone

    when i had cingular back in the day - i had so many problems with text messaging - cingular sucks ass IMO. tmobile is great tho - i haven't had any trouble
