    sometimes mix and matching is the best - I don't necessarily care about brand vs. the quality of the output and such

    Same here. When it comes to computers though I like HP, IBM, and Sony or I will just build my own.

    That's indeed true... I like Yammies for Amps / receivers... Had mine for almost 10 years now, and still rock solid... Pioneers are good too, but don't like the sound out of the lower end models.

    TV's : Sharp, Toshiba (durability), and Sony, but $$$

    etc. etc. etc.

    Yamaha for the mother of all fucking win! I got a Yamaha Natural Sound AV Reciever HTR-5130 just here controlling sound to my TV, radio, and computer - I love it ( and I've had it for about 7-8 years now )

    TV's, Computers, Speakers, and other media productsI prefer Sony except the computer because all I ever bought was HP's.

    sony and sharp... i had a sony tv a when i was about 15 and that shit lasted about 1.5 years and the sharp tv my mom had i pressed the volume button and the button fell inside the tv lol... maybe they make better products now but i prefer not to buy them just my

    We have a RCA tv from around 1998 and it did a similar thing with the buttons. The tv itself works fine, but you have to use a remote to do anythign with it.

    my preferences are as follows:
    Definitive Technology speakers (supertowers, sattelites, and subwoofers kick ass on movies)
    as well as Vienna Acoustics loudspeakers (more for music listening)
    Pioneer Elite and Denon High Current recievers/amplifiers

    as far as tvs go, there are many reputable brands.
