You're right, we're not expendable, and no, you can't just quit, I guess the point I was trying to make is that there is almost no one in the U.S. military now that didn't know about the constant conflict in the middle east, as well as our nations involvement at the time they joined, or re-enlisted.

that's not entirely true, i mean seriously, how many national guard members and reservists that have been in those branches long before the war in iraq began, i hardly would think they expected to be heading overseas.
