    First, Charleston, SC. Watched the warehouse burn down(9 firefighters died/been all over news). Then Mt. Pleasant, SC to College Park. Left from there and went to Raleigh, NC-Charlotte, NC to Athens, GA-home. Ugh. That included a 3 day layover in Raleigh for truck break down. But the company put me in a hotel w/dinner for free and still paid me for detention time. Later, QD.

    I've been hearing a lot about people moving to the area just to get work in trucking! Heard Atlanta was getting pretty big and has some of the best pay out of the 48 states..

    The best pay comes from being employed through the union. Atlanta's not too bad for this line of work. I don't know about the pay being better. It really depends on the company. Later, QD.
