    Default is this a scam?

    so i get this email from a guy that says he is interested in my car and ask me a couple of questions about it. I reply to his questions which were pretty general like and he replies back with all this wierd payment stuff. Below is our whole entire conversation, what do you think? The first email I recieved is at the bottom and it works it way up.





    Thanks,i hope the car is in good condition.This is all the requirements
    needed at this time. The shipper will handle every other thing necessary
    when he arrives your location. The price is okay by me. I will like to pay
    the full amount of 11000 dollars for the car plus an extra 100 dollars for
    you to keep other buyers off till it is picked up by the shipper. So please
    get back to me,and also keep other buyers off. I will send you a check of
    15000 dollars Can I trust you to have it cashed, take 11100 dollars and send
    the balance to the shipper, so that the car I bought for my son can be
    picked up?If yes, kindly reply with the following payment details.
    1]names and address you want on the bank check
    2]phone numbers
    Do Send the details to me now for the check to be send you earlier and all
    the websites you paste the car for sale.

    Yeah, it is a scam. The check is fake, thus when you send the money to the guy, you are on the hook for it.
    What if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today.

    Duh, yes it's a scam. You will take the check to the bank it will post and about a week later the bank will pull the funds from your account because it's a closed account or a fake check. Plus your negitive for the balance you pulled out. Agree to sell it to this guy take the check and cash it. And do nothing. See what happens.

    anyone who emails you and asks for your name and address etc. before you requested is a scammer.

    Yes, not from the 'buyer' but from the bank you cashed the check at. Its a fake check, and then the bank nails your balls for cashing a fake check.

    My god have you not heard of this scam?? Shit, there was a post exactly like this no more then 3 weeks ago on here.....shit.
