craiglist scammer?

So I have a car posted for sale on here and craigslist, and I get an email like 10 minutes after its on craigslist stating the following:

"kelvin ben" [email protected]
"Hello,i am much interested in buying your car you place here for sale
so get back to me if you still have have it for sale.Thanks"

I reply, and then he replies with:

"kelvin ben" [email protected]
"Thanks for you quick responce i will be buying the
car,i will like to tell you that i will be paying
with a certisfied check and as for the moving, my
mover will come for the pick up at your location
upon your confirmation that the payment is recieved
and cashed and i dont want you to look for any other
buyer.I would have loved to come down for the pick
up,but am not chance to do that now but am satisfy
with your discription of the car i will like you
to give me the following so that your payment can be
forwarded to you.................
1....your full name to be on the check
2..your full contact address to send the payment to
3..your zip code
4.your mobile and land line number to reach you.I will
be expecting your mail.
Regards"

LOL.... so i asked him where he's from and if he is sure he doesnt want to inspect the car before purchase.... what a joke.

thanks.. yeah i could tell because from what i've read, people out of the country and people that want to use cashiers checks, wiring money, etc... usually wind up being scammers.

I can't tell if you're joking or not about this being a scam, but just in case.....It IS.

I had the same thing happen when I sold my camera on there. I finally had to edit the post and put in big letters for freaking Nigerian scammers to not waste my time because I wasn't falling for it.

They sent me almost the exact same email verbatim. The sad part is someone somewhere will STILL fall for it.

I bet if you copied that and pasted it on google and hit 'im feeling lucky' you'd get something..... a lot of somethings at that
