Just change IA to whoreslounge.com and open porn again. Problems solved for 95% of the people who come here. Even though I haven't been on here long, it isn't hard to notice where the majority of people look.

I agree with Tasuki. I've probably been on IA now maybe 45 minutes in the last 4 days. A lot of people know that's a huge drop in IA time for me. And not just "thinking" about it like most do - I mean REALLY posting that "getting outta the game" thread for REAL and moving on w/ other things in life. I am a weird one like that b/c I AM a true enthusiast, but I also get satisfaction by watching from a distance. I can always say "I did it."

When I was teen, I learned things from guys on forums... and I am almost dissappointed b/c the older generation of enthusiasts are not really passing shit down to the kids... at least not the RIGHT shit. In a sense we are forgetting how it felt to be green - "search for it" - SHIT, there is so much wrong shit on the web we are literally fucking them over.

I think you are on to something Ma... even though I can't say exactly what it is.

I think the problem isn't IA, it's IA's people who are starting these weak arguments and such. I know part of being a post whore is posting on every thread and looking at them all, but I think you'll have a more pleasant experience on IA if you just refrain from viewing threads made by people you know have weak shit to post or the topic is retarded. Just ignore it and move on to a better thread...shit! Make your own awesome threads so IA will be better since you know the poor topics from the good.

About changing IA to whoreslounge.com, I was referring to the fact that the off topic part of this site gets exponentially more traffic than the automotive sections. This is by far the biggest car forum I visit, with easily the least amount of information about cars/racing. A little bass ackwards IMO.

I really don't care if porn is on here or not, just a lot of people have complained about it. I was just in a bad mood and a little drunk last night and noticed how much others have been complaining, and at the time, it seemed like that was what all the people cared about. I made a rash post, but I didn't mean to offend. I know a whole lot of work goes into managing an internet forum, and I probably can't imagine the actual time it takes with a forum this big.

I'm not going to say you're an idiot because I can tell you're not. But you seem to be not getting the point of what some of us are saying. You've only been here about a year and a half. I've been here for 6 years. I've seen all the changes IA has gone through. I'm not saying that the noobs are wrong.
