HAHA 11 Alive News Featuring Varsity Burnouts!

Agreed. They needed to interview the responsible people that go to look at cars, congregate, and talk. Not the dumbass's that do burnouts which smokes up four lanes of traffic with lines of people on either side and while no one has been injured yet it would definately shut down varsity meets from now on if it happened. As far as varsity meets being ruined? I think they just made things better by cracking down on idiotic behavior and maybe people will pay their $2.50 to park and not get hassled. I actually think though with the publicty they just gave the next meet will be larger not smaller as not everyone knows about IA. I actually think someone that is prominent on these boards should write a letter our get ahold of 11 Alive to voice our side of the story.

I guess it just takes the news to bring IA together, huh?

Keebs I kinda have to agree with everyone else on this. They got on tv making burnouts look like they were so cool and that was the thing to do at the Varsity. People like them are the ones fucking up everything for the rest of us because they want to do stupid shit to get attention

I wont lie, I've stood there for a burnout like once. That shit smelled like rice burning, and it was dumb as shit. No lie, I was hoping one of those dumb ass kids got ran over. BUT....BUT fuck 11alive coming to the meet and showing only damn burnouts. Thats the stupidest part of the meet, and it's only like 10% of what actually goes on. The majority of the time, we're just walking around. Why didnt they get that? Fuck Blair Meeks. He didnt show the essence of a True V meet.

we used to have a similar spot in VA when i used to live there until some idiot doing a burnout lost it and ran over 4 kids killing them....

i just dont understand what a burn outdoes... what is the big deal about it.. wasting ur money on new tires is cool in the new generation i guess. whast the real purpose of doing burnouts otyher than fucking it up for everyone else....

There's no way anyone would go to the Varsity next time, especially since they made a fool of the cops, remember when they showed the cop driving around and not doing anything? Man you kno how bad that made the APD look? I'm pretty sure they're gonna block that whole thing off as soon as people start getting there....o well, hopefully it will stop that varsity meet and the dumbasses from burning out. I would always leave as soon as the burnouts started. It just got stupid after that...

Whats fucked up, is that now there's gonna be much more rice there. Cuz you know hella idiots who didnt even know about the V meets just saw that report like "Ohhh wow, cool man, lets take dads civic there next week"

Maybe this was the best thing for the Varsity meets. Maybe we won't have to worry about burnouts anymore. I mean I stopped going every since they started that shit. Maybe if it stops many more people will start going again and maybe new people will join since they know when it is now

being a smartass aside, so far there have been no injuries and people have gotten hurt doing what seems to be much safer things.

people put their lives on the line all of the time for the enjoyment of others, its called sports which is socially accepted. this is a motor"sport". You make the call going to the meet so you know the risk (even if it is a small one) when you step into that parking lot.

the only reason this is an ordeal is because our society likes to point fingers when things are their own fault unlike the majority of other countries in the world that are collectivists and rightfully blame themselves
