i'll post up....ive seen the "scene" change in many ways, as im sure some of the older folks have, going from body kits to jdm....ive done it all, i just dont have any pictures of my car w/ the body kit, it was only on a few weeks, had a small mishap and had the body shop put all the factory stuff back on for me

this is the oldest picture of my civic that i have, this was taken in december of 2000, i got the car in september of 2000 completley 100% stock from a local school teacher

i absolutley hated those rims, i got talked into buying them by a local shop, paid $1200 new w/ tires and lugnuts....but i always seemed to get compliments on them at redlights and such

as the scene changed, my tastes changed, i went the jdm route and i would like to say i was one of the first in my area to do the black on black thing.

this is also round about the time that i really got into the performance side of imports, ive always been a mustang guy growing up, but obviously couldnt swing something like that while in college, so i ended up doing a junked together turbo kit on the civic...using dsm stuff, t25, smic, etc...it was fun, not fast by no means, but at the time there were only a handful of swapped civics and as long as they were stock swaps i could easily keep up with them...the only work i didnt do on the car itself was the i/c piping/exhaust

this is the car probably 2 weeks or so before selling it

after that i pretty much got away from imports and ive been chasing "the car" ever since...ive been through an awd tsi talon, a cl, got into trucks for a while, went back to riding bikes, finally could afford a cobra, had it right at a year and got bored, and now im driving a suv (FREE PLUG, ITS FOR SALE IN THE CLASSIFIEDS)

i dont think i will necessarily go the speed route again, id like to give a good try at autox stuff, so im thinking a s2k or a nicely setup stang is in the works...of course i always have the c5 z06 in the back of my head though
