Wild Wing Suwanee FTL tonight...

Well, I don't know where to put this so I thought that this would suit it the best. I just got back from going out to eat with my fiance' at Wild Wing Suwanee. We've eaten there many of times and it has been great except for the service which could be a little faster, but except for that, it's a great place until tonight.

So we walk in the door, go to the hostess desk and wait for 5 minutes for a hostess to sit us. So ok, whatever. We sit down and wait for another 10 minutes to be greeted by a male server which was a nice guy, and note, he wasn't even our designated server. (It was NOT packed at all, very few tables had customers) So he takes our order and after that, our designated server finally comes over and introduces herself. We order our entire meal and appetizer with our drinks so it wouldnt take long. So we wait, and wait, and wait on our appetizer. So, im chillin drinkin a beer and I get half way done and our MEAL finally comes out, with our appetizer. So I kindly say, we don't want the appetizer anymore because our food is already here. (Who wants to eat your appetizer with your food, its an appetizer so you can snack while you wait for your food). So she walks off for a minute, then comes back and snatches the appetizer plate off the table, in an extremely rude manner without saying a word. I'm still like whatever drinking my beer. So we start to eat into our wings and notice that they don't seem to taste right. We look at them and theres still blood on the inside of the wings, and the chicken is still mushy and soft from where it wasn't cooked completely. I was disgusted by it. We decide to notify our server that there was a problem, but he/she or whoever it was supposed to be was no where to be found. Five minutes pass and the manager walks out to our table to give us the appetizer back that our server had snatched off our table a while back. (Which was fairly decent of him to do.) We show him the wings and even he is disgusted by the still clucking chicken. Definitely a turnoff for food. So least to say, we didn't end up eating there. Now I do have to give thanks and props to the manager who took care of the problem. He was a genuinely nice guy who seemed to want to do the right thing.

Personally, I think they were just severely understaffed tonight and that caused a lot of the problems we experienced. Will we eat there again... Probably not anytime soon, just because if I get Salmonella I'll sick as a mother and in no shape to eat more chicken.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I eat at Wild Wings very often, and customer service is poor 90% of the time. But no one elses wings can compare so I will continue to eat there.

Service at that location SUCKS ASS. Everytime we go up there, our beer is warm our wings are cold or something else ALWAYS happens but hey, cant beat buy one get one wings

I always go to the Alpharetta one on Mansell road. Its staffed by 18-22 year olds who could care less how your service is. We watched our waiter watch TV for a while one day.

odd enough I was there tonight too - we had I guess 2 waitresses that were serving like that entire corner of the restaurant - and I agree, they seemed to be really understaffed that night - drinks took awhiel to get out, but my wings didn't take too long, no were they undercooked - so I dunno - but props to the manager

Everytime I've eaten at that one the waitress we get is always too busy hanging out with her friends at the bar. Giving her friends free drinks, but I can't even pay for one. You might as well order 2 or 3 when she does come by cause who knows when she will come back.

The main reason I don't eat there exactly....no one there seems to care. If I eat wings, its Taco Mac or Hooters....at least if the service sucks at Hooters you have something to look at vs some 14 year old who thinks she's the shit. Wild Wings FTMFL.

hooters in lawrenceville went to shit now. i used to go there all the time, but last time i went i realized how lazy those tig ol' bittie bitches where, and the white manager is a fucking prick. everytime i go there it takes an hour to get our drink another hour to get our food and once our food gets there either A)its the wrong thing B) taste like shit C) im not hungry anymore cuz ive been starving my ass of for an hour. well continuing with my story after a long hour of waiting i get the wrong damn order i tell our waitress that i got the wrong order she literaly snatches my plate almost hit me in the damn face and says "this is what you ordered" in a rude way. by now i didnt care about being polite so i said "i think i would fucking know what i ordered" then i tell her to call her manager and she refused to and walked away. then i saw the white manager and i called him over and he just looked at me with a (what the fuck do you want look) and turned around and walked away. she then came back threw the check on the table, by now im pissed off so i get up and call the black manager and tell him the situation and he was a bit more understanding and told us we can eat for free. but still the last couple times i went the waitresses would just sit at the tables with their buddies and forget that they have other paying customers that wan their damn food/refills. one of the waitresses literally told me to hold on because she was having a rough day and wanted to smoke a cigg...bitch you cant just walk out on a customer thats about to order to go smoke. if you're having a rough day suck it up.

Wow, we must always have the same waitresses then...The probably mmm...12 times ive been there, this sounds like what happens to us. It can be just a few people in there (or slammed packed which is reasonable sometimes) but when i have an empty glass for 30 minutes, you wont get a tip

Bad service deserves a bad tip.
But I always give them a second chance, if if they redeem themselves, I really make it up to them (100% or more tip).

A few years ago we got really bad service at Applebees on Pleasant Hill. The check was around $55 and I left $5 on the table. No, not a $5 tip, but JUST $5 for the entire check. I even waited for her to come back to the table so she can see us leave. She was in awe. We came back a week or 2 later, she served us again, did really good, and I paid for the previous check, the current one, and a extra $60 tip, which was more than 200% of that night's check.
She was our best server for the next 2 years, but then she moved on to another job.

I leave as soon as I get a shitty server. I worked in the restaurant business for years before I got into the automotive business and I don't put up with that shit. I have seen what servers do to peoples food when they have a bad day. It is not like the person is being a dick its just the server having a stick up thier ass.

On the other side of things if the server does an amazing job I give them huge tips. I gave a guy a $60 tip on a $110 bill. He chased me down in the parking because he though I gave him too much and I said "this is why I gave you this much, you did an awesome job" I though he was going to cry.

I have also told a server that she must be suckin someones dick to have a job here because you are the worst waitress I have ever had. She threw our plates down and the food went all over us. That one was fun, the waitress and bus boy were screaming at my dad and I on the way out. The bus boy grabbed me by the shirt and my dad put him into a wall. Then the manager came out and asked us what was going on. He fired the waitress and bus boy on the spot. I still laugh when I think about that one.

I don't even remember who our server/s were that night. Heck, I don't remember what I had for dinner last night. But apparently, the last guy we spoke to was the shift manager and he did take care of us. Thank you for looking out for us though! I appreciate it!! +1
