    So I just got back form Ohio with the new Gixxer 1000, and all i can say is oh my god, do i hurt. I love the bike also, but DAMN does my back hurt and my neck and just everything all together, but one good thing is that I have had the bike for less than 12 hours and its already broken in, almost 800 miles on the OD...LOL....i will get better pics tomorrow enjoy what i got for now

    Sweet. You didnt by chance happen to go over 100mph during your trip did you?

    hell ya i went over 100....
    first 100 miles i stayed under 5K and acutally went back roads so I could ride through all gears. I did half and three quarter throttle pulls in all gears.

    after 200 miles i stayed under 6K, after 300 7K and so on and so forth. I now have 780 miles on the bike and I will not actually redline it until i get to 1000 miles. I head so many other break in procedures, but this is what i did before and have never had a problem,

    just wanderin why you went all the way up there to get ya one when you could have gotten one just like it alot closer?

    several reason....

    I wanted a new 06
    I wanted the blue/white
    I wanted to break the bike in FAST
    I wanted the best deal

    I found a few 06 blue and whites around here, but they still wanted $10k+, i paid $8600 for this out the door. plus the bike is broken in and it only took 1 day. now its time to start to have REAL FUN with her
