Be careful when you are driving
(Friday 4/27/07 @ approximately 10:00PM) Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Department are currently investigating a rape that occurred in the Snellville area of Gwinnett County.
A 24-year-old female, a resident of Loganville, was driving alone in the area of Ridgedale Drive and Pinehurst Road. The driver stopped at a stop sign, when an unknown male struck her in the head with a blunt object through her open driver’s side window. While she was dazed, the offender opened the door and entered her car. A second offender entered through the passenger side door. One of the offenders drove them to a second location in Snellville, where the two offenders physically and sexually assaulted the victim.
After the assault, the offenders forced the victim into the trunk of her car and drove around. After the drive, the offenders told the victim to stay in the trunk for a period of time before she got out. Once she let herself out of the trunk, the victim drove herself to her boyfriends where she reported the crime and police were notified.
Both offenders are described as skinny black males, between the ages of 16-20 years of age. They were both wearing black hooded sweatshirts. One had baggy dark colored pants similar to “Dickies” brand pants. The other was wearing black sweatpants. Their faces were covered with white bandannas with black designs on them. One of the males was armed with a handgun.
These offenders are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the crime tip line of the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5390.
Ladies, roll your window up..Guys be careful too...ur attacker might not be straight and you can become the victim.
