    Default Basic Riders Course...

If you have taken it...it is bad ass. If you have not taken it then do so.

    1. It's fun as hell.
    2. Nice way to spend a weekend.
    3. It will change the way you drive period.
    4. and for me...well it helps me get on a motorcycle lol

Honestly this class is very good and somewhat hard...at least it is when you have to weave through staggered cones that are no more than 5-6ft apart, and look straight ahead without looking down.

actually to my surprise I did not fall once (knock on wood)...and besides myself and another dude. We were the youngest in there. Most of the other people were females in their 30s early 40s and a couple older dudes.

The class started off simple. First everything in the book. "To turn do not push on the handle bars press down on the side you want to go. Look right, Press Right, Lean Right" and until I got the hang of it Looking in the direction you want to go is actually the key in turning sharp without falling because, as the instructor stated, the nose acts as a pointer and the bike will go where ever your nose is pointed.

PLus they made it a point not to look down. They say if you look down while you are riding than eventually you will fall.

We'll see how I do today. Its my final day, and today is the day we take the state riding test/evaluation and a written.

They also tell me to start riding as soon as possible while all of this is fresh in my mind.

Yeah, i definately recommend it. I took it when i was 16 to get my class M license. It was fun, easy (if you know how to ride), and watching other stall out never gets old lol.

Nope mine isnt by Honda. It was a GA DMV class and there is about 19 places in GA to take them. just go to www.dds.ga.gov and go to the training section and the BASIC COURSE. It is fun as hell.

I PASSED BITCHES!!! haha! and they say its harder than the actual tests at the DMV.

The hardest part was doing figure 8s in a box no bigger than 7ft wide and 10 ft long. I mean you pretty much have to lay the bike down and keep riding lol.

250 and they provide the bike and helmet. If you pass the two tests then you dont have to take the Motorcycle test at the DMV you just give them this little card that you get in the mail and they have to give it to you.

yup and at me being 300 lbs i wouldnt have it any other way...but don't get it twisted. I am a pussy and will not do any twisties until I can successfully learn my bike. I'm not some dumbass wanting to show off the power. I honestly can say that the RC51 is comfortable TO ME. I don't do wheelies, endos, and honestly I do not want to try them in fear that I will have to change my pants (in a bad way).

Ohh and insurance for full coverage on the RC51, and me at the ripe age of 20 is $76 a month for full coverage.
