    yea ruah..im from cobb so i was gonna try there first...you know what i gotta do to transfer the emt cert is it simple or do i have to take like a refresher course or just challenge the ga state test? do you know about fire min standards will have to get recert in ga for those too or do they just transfer over?

    I'm not sure abt GA NPQ since I'm abt to go into the academy myself. As for GA EMT, are u a basic or Intermediate? If u are a basic, you have to enrol at one of the classes and take the NREMT I exam. GA ambulance services only take Intermidiatte.

    You can still apply for a job at the firedept. The gd thing, they will even pay for ur sch to upgrade ur cert to I. If u are I certified, all u have to do is go to the EMS human resource office and tell them abt ur situation.

    Apply for the job now!!Do not wait.I have to wait one yr for them to give me a job offering and that if u pass all the requirements.Gd luck and let me know if u are back in Ga.We can hang out sometime.
