    Default NEW CARJACKING SCHEME - GANGSTA

    A woman stopped at a BP station late at night to get some gas. She knew it was always more convenient to pre-pay at the pump, so she pulled out her credit card to swipe it in the machine. Right before she inserted the card, a man called out to her from behind and said “The machine’s broken.” She said “Really?” and proceeded to further inquire about the broken credit card verifier.

    As she did, another man sneaked in from behind the pump , climbed up to the top of the pump, and then squeezed himself into the hose of the gas pump. Meanwhile, the guy behind the lady says “Try the card verifier again, but it may or may not work.” This time it did work, BUT IT HAD BEEN WORKING THE ENTIRE TIME. So, she proceeds to pre-pay for the gas with her credit card.

    But LET’S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE GUY IN THE GAS HOSE. While she’s pumping gas, he gets squirted into her gas tank, climbs THROUGH her engine, and squeezes himself through the air conditioning vent and ends up in the driver’s seat of the car. Next thing you know, because the lady did NOT take her keys out of the ignition, the guy cranks up the car and drives off in a mad rush, and as he’s driving off, the other man (the guy who told her that the machine’s broken) dives into the front driver’s side window---they were IN THIS SCHEME TOGETHER!!! Consequently, the two men left her stranded at the pump.

    Moral of the story: ALWAYS take your keys out of the ignition when you’re pumping gas. Prevent this from happening again!!!
