Anyways, the area of solar systems that can contain a habitable planet that they are calling the "goldilocks zone" is VERY small and if their calculations are wrong, the planet might actually be a barren wasteland like Mars or an extremely hot planet like Venus.

I think we will know in a few years. I'm kind of excited to find out if it has life on it.

You are one of those people that ignores the fact it is possible other life forms developed to live differently than life on our planet aren't you. Think about it, evolution basically leaves open the idea that life can evolve anywhere as long as it adapts to its environment. So technically life on other planets could have life that just survives on different shit than we do. Think about it.

It would be pretty cool if that planet has life, even if it doesnt though, we could use some extra fresh water here

yeah its 20 lightyears away. If we were travelling at THE SPEED OF LIGHT it would still take 20 years to even get there. Im sorry but not only can we not even travel relatively close to the speed of light, who is going to dedicate 20 years of their life on basically a suicide mission? If they got there and back, it would be 40 years, where would the oxygen come from? The food? The water? Im guessing Star Trek will be a reality in our future lol.
