Thumbs up props to tora motorsports

If any of you know my situation i have had the car down for about 7 months getting a new motor in. Me and my cousin(Goldollar) did the swap in the garage and ran into some wiring problems that had us stumped for a couple months.

Brian hill(ncturnal) picked the car up from the house with a tow truck they have and took it up to Tora motor sports and the wiring tech there re wired my engine harness to get it started. Took a week or so to diagnose the problem but the motor fired and i'm probaly going to go up there to put the finishing touches on it by this weekend ....

    I'm pretty happy right now.

No the motor i have is us spec 3sgte pulled from a wrecked 93 with 79k miles. With that low of miles i had to get it.

I'm putting the jdm ct20b turbo on there and should be pushing 280whp on pump and try to pull 300+ on race gas.

NICE mark, but I don't see as ct20b making 280 unless you do a whole lot.

I could see 280 whp with this setup
    CT27
    exhaust
    rom tune
    air intake
    injectors
    atsracing fuel rail
    walbro fuel pump
    Berk/greedy intercooler
2006 Evo IX - Bolt ons

Funny you say that because i was reading a thread on the mr2board about you and one of your coworkers today involving the ct20b...

Noshoes made est 320whp on a ct20b with cams and a good tune with some fuel mods and that was good for a 11.7 second pass.(correct me if i'm wrong)

My buddy vinh threw a ct20b on his car and at 13psi ran a 13.3 with a 1.9 60ft time (pretty bad for mr2's) and i think his car made around 260whp at 14-15psi

The guy i brought my previous motor from got 277whp out of a ct20b with nothing but

    air filter
    exhaust
    ct20b @17-18psi
    intercooler
    550's
    apexi s-afc
    regular gas

I have a spare 3sgte laying in the garage, I'm building that with a gt30r and it's going in another mr2
