    Default Fucken A - What a SHitty Day

    As Some of you know I had 2 dogs but back in Oct. 1 of them passed away due to cancer at an earyl age of 5 now Her sisiter when I got up this morning was not moving very much and I rushed her to the Vet she Has been On IV fluids all morning and also bruised up from an aparent Seazure in the middle of the night. They Did Blood work and Have now think they narrowed it down to some Decease that Middle aged dogs get that don not produce enough Cortazone and she if she pulls through will have to get a Shot once a month and Take a Pill every day and get Blood work done every six months for the rest of her Life. We are praying she pulls through as anyone that knows me Knows My wife and My dog are my life...I am very up set but please just pray for her..She is an Awsome Husky and does not deserve this...

    Thanks Tracy I hope Kahlua can come home today but they still arnt sure they also said the Seazure Might have efected her long term but we will not know

    Thank you so much for all the prayers I believe they helped greatly I get to pick her up at 7pm tonight and bring her home just now I am $450 less in the pocket but who cares I saved my girls life. Now the fun part she has to take a Pill a day forever and also get a $100 shot once a month for the rest of her life....But She Is My Baby...

    Awww.. I'm so sorry to hear that too.. I lost my beautiful puppy not long ago.. some fuckin ignorant asshole ran her over.. I'm so sorry..

    I had a SHITTY day too... I registered the wrong person today in the hospital.. They thought he was allergic to the medicine that would have saved his life... So I feel like I killed someone...

    I found out some info on her condition.. its called addison's desease...otherwise known as Hypoadrenocorticism. Its an adrenal gland production error in the system... We have 5 patients at my office currently on treatment for it and my doctors know alot about it.. Feel free to call me any time.. I also have 9 pages of info printed out or you can go to our website : Http://www.conyersanimalhospital.petplace.com and type in Addisons on the search line and it will pull up the same info..

    thank you so much She is home but very out of it and has to be watched at all time's... I was told it was assison's desease when we pick her up..She still is not eating but has prescription food now and hopefully will be better in about a week or so..

    hey man, as a fellow husky owner, i know the joys of having the company of such a companion. no amount of cash would be too much just to be able to keep him/her around. i'm with you in that my puppy is my life. and i use the term puppy loosely. but yeah. glad she's pullin thru.

    you know what though - seeing her wag her tail and everything makes it all worth it. i would pay any amount for my puppy. that is good of you to do all that for her. i always hear these stories of people putting them to sleep cause its cheaper - so its good to hear someone caring for their pup.

    hope she feels better! should we send some treats along to her as a get well?

    aWWWWWWWWWW Thats awsome Kristi Yeah I had tpu her sister down in Oct cause she had a cancer mass the size of a grapefruit that ruptured her intestines..

    Awww I guess I am a lil late on finding the news..but i am seriously sorry to hear that and of course I will pray for her. I have a dog too and I wouldn't want anything to happen to her. Again sorry to hear about you're news.
