    Default I just saw the new EVO X on the road...

    i'm staring out onto Mansell Rd because i'm bored and i saw the new EVO 10....

    it was graphite in color....and oh sweet merciful crap it's ugly!

    not hating on neons but the new evo x looks like an srt-4 anybody else think so?

    sux that they did away with the widebody fenders and have the flared ones and the evo spoiler was classic you cant fuck with a classic

    ftl

    but otherwise, speaking from just a car perspective, its a badass vehicle.... from the legacy of the evo standpoint, theres wayy too much change

    probably a lancer. the evo is not even out yet, no dealers have it for show or anything.. the lancer comes out this year.

    The EVO X isnt out yet. It was probably the mitsubishi rep driving the new regular Lancer... I saw the gray one at the dealship last week. There was only one in town according to him.

    it looked like the evo 10...granted i was about 74 feet away from it...but it isn't the first time i've seen a car that hasn't been ''officially'' introduced yet...i've seen the cayman on mansell about 3 months before its official introduction to dealers, a Ford GT, Bentley Flying Spur, and etc....i honestly don't know why....lol

    well, the evo is more than a year away, so really doubt it was the evo.

    the lancer, yes coulda been. mitsu said they would be getting it soon. i didnt know it would be this soon.

    i dont care what you guys say, im buying an evo x, maybe the second year...

    first year is coming out with an audi tranny... sports shifter... paddles...

    i want a stick shift, it comes out on the second gen...

    the block is no longer iron, it will be aluminum, it will be so much more kickass than the current one. yes, it's not the most beautiful car, but who cares when youre going faster than eveyrone else.

    Aluminum block = less friendly to boost. It's Aluminum to offset the weight from having to move the engine forward in order to mount the turbo between the engine and firewall, hence the hood scoop to try and keep temps down. Mitsu had to put the turbo there to meet the current emissions standards.

    we are not getting a better block, its more eaiser to tear up then our evo8 -9 blocks. Second evo x hasn't hit shores yet but the new lancer has, the new lancer was slatted to come out in April

    acutally they do get a manual trans, you have the option of paddle or manual. But for the ones that get paddle shifter it is going to suck.

    hmmm audi paddle shifter... if you didnt know, audi is using ferrari technology for that transmission... so while you're taking .5 seconds to shift your gears (if youre that fast), the evo will have shifted it in what? .1 .001? its ultra fast...

    i dont like the idea that is almost an automatic, but you cant beat that shifting time... its top of the line transmission...
