    I found this, is this the same system on IA??

    regarding reputation:
    green is positive, red is negative, gray is zero. here are the official settings:

    1. new users has a level of 10 reputation upon registration
    2. a user must have 10 reputation before his reputation hits count on others
    3. a user must have 50 posts before his rep hits count on others
    4. for every 100 points of rep, users gain 1 point of rep altering power
    5. for every 1000 posts, users gain 1 point of rep altering power
    6. for every 365 days, users gain 1 point of rep altering power

    no, ppl on ia come on w/0 rep, that's why they're grey...and it's 100 pts per green block, up until u get like 500, after that it's 200 pts before u get another light green block.
