    a respectable shop wont tattoo/pierce drunks, which is probably why it hurts like a motherfucker, ive never experienced pain w/ any piercings past the first few minutes....but thats just my .02

    ^^I wasn't drunk drunk at the time of going. I had like 2 beers in me. I proceeded to get piss drunk over the course of the evening, after getting pierced.

    As far as the pain goes, it's pretty much subsided... It hurt this morning when I woke up because I was laying on it. I'm a pain wimp, though, so things that don't bother other people make me cringe.
