    Default What you claim? state, country.. whatever...

    I see alot of people post on here where they from and claiming states/coutries.. left and right...

    So what you claim? what should you really claim? Or is there really a point?
    Honeslty, I dont really care in claiming anything..... But is always a thought or just wondering....


    I personally, dont know what to claim... When Im asked, I answer "Dominican"

    But, I have never really lived there or was even born there.... My parents are.. So I figured I would..

    I was born In passaic, NJ.. Lived there for a few years.. Then went to New York, Then to Boston .. then the ATL...

    I claim Haitian because I'm proud to be Haitian. My parents are both 100% Haitian and both come from a long bloodline. Honestly one of the reasons why i claim it so much is because people think I'm black or they think that all black people come from Africa and in reality I'm from New york and my ancestors were born in Haiti i know my roots.

    im german, but my parents arent. both my parents families came from scotland (the same part of scotland), but technically they are nordic as the area was colonized by the vikings who killed off all the natives.

    But I claim GA, cause its where I live.

    born in Kapuskasing Canada, lived in Vancouver for awhile - then moved to Mexico where I had my pre-K - then moved to Virginia - was there from kindergarten till the beginning of 2nd grade, then moved here, and here I am 12 years later....

    but my friend's dad always told me - home is where you hang your hat, and I gotta say, GA is my home.

    Mine is kind of complicated though. Except for Norcross I havent lived in the same place for longer than a year and a half. So I guess I claim the atlanta metro area because I have lived in a lot of places in atlanta. Now im in florida though and I like the whether here. I want to live here when I get out of college but I will always consider myself to be from atlanta. Im kind of rambling I know.

    i tend to say i'm from blue ridge.. then normally follow up with a..... "but originally from michigan"...

    cause i've lived in ga since i was like 12 (i'm 21..) so almost ten years here.. and 12 there... and not like i remember all of them in michigan... but i do miss the state... and the snow.
