    Just go to autozone or any place like that. They rent them out for free. You pay like $54 and then they just refund the money when you return it.

    If you are trying to get them on your strut, just get a heavy-set or strong/athletic person to push down on the spring. Its free if you have a friend like that!

    Most shops have large spring comressors that are safer if you're worried about that, but if you've ever used them before, the ones you can rent from autozone work just fine. Just never point either end at yourself or any of your friends... or anything expensive for that matter...

    i hv done it couple of times but this time i am goin back to stock springs and the only reason that i want spring compressor cuz i dislocated my arm 1 month ago otherwise i would hv done it long time ago.just need it for one day some one??/?

    hmm good question because shocks are gone and the car bounce too much ain't got money right now to put new shocks and struts i was about to probably will but for now gota go back to stock.it only takes 3hrs to do all four me and benefitx did in less then 2 hrs all four so its not a big deal

    i never use spring compressors...lol i just put a towel over the spring and point it towards the wall...and loosen...very unsafe but it works..

    i cant believe u, or anyone u know doesnt have 40 bux u can borrow for 3 hrs to rent from advance auto. THYE GIVE U THE MONEY BAKC, U LOSE NOTHING.

    but if u dont even have 40$ or know someone who does, u have worse problems than your springs.
