Haha.. I've had one since 04. I remember there were only like 250 people in GA on there.. now there's probably that many in this shitty little town. I use it to talk to people though. Friends that don't know wtf AIM is. And I did find a lot of people who I went to elementary school with. I'll never meet girls off of there. Their myspace page is just a good cover on a book full of shit.

I love it, but then again I'm a female and we like to make sure we know what everyone else is doing nowadays. The only thing that F'n annoys the shit out of me is when people have like 5 different bulletins saying I HAVE NEW PICTURES I HAVE NEW PICTURES - go leave a comment!! for god's sake shut the fuck up if someone wants to look at you they will. i still don't understand why everyone in IA insists on myspace when facebook is around. facebook lets you tag people in photos, create albums, make groups and events way easier, and its so easy to find people.

not to mention its a lot more private and you must be who you say you are because in order to join a school network you have to have a confirmed school e-mail address. its a lot less creepy then myspace.

and with only 10 comments showing on the wall instead of 50 and everyone's page being the same, it makes it a lot less of a popularity contest with top friends and what not.

Yeah myspace actually is more functional in my opinion, and I am familiar with both. But with myspace you can set background pictures, background colors, songs, put youtube videos, etc.

if you have to advertise your music taste, interests or anything like that on a page then it starts to turn into some kind of ad on one of those dating compatibility websites. if someone is your friend then they already know what they need to know about you.

half the time some feature is broken, going slow as hell with a bogged down server, and you have to go through 10 people's top friends to get to someone.

facebook you type in their full name and it brings you right to them, actual people, not a list of garbage random pages with no pictures on them so you have no idea who they are.
