Back in 1996 with me ES but with no internet like today, it was basic stuff. When I found Clublexus and met people with the cars back in 2000/2001, OMG I was hooked and that is when I got into JDM stuff somewhat and just more knowledgeable in general.
I have the UTMOST respect for those O.Gs that modded before me! Kudos to you all!

since i was 6 and could hand my grandfather tools to work on his old Nash. been downhill ever since!!! LOL wouldnt have it any other way though! just love cars.

Built my first SBC in '79 that went 10.xx's in a '70 Camaro Z28.
Been wrenching/modding since.

I've never worked on a car before, therefore I have no experience whatsoever.
I just talk out of my ass, and somehow it's the right thing to say.
I'm just lucky like that, cause I don't know jack shit about anything automotive.

I grew up with working on cars. Started small. First I really got to it though, without help was in 87 really. Since then, I have stayed involved non-stop. Have owned lots of different types of cars, and done tons of different modifications.

well my dad owns a shop so i was always working on cars mostly camaros and lifted trucks but really got into the import game 6 years ago when i turned 15 and got my 93 accord ex 40 cars later i'm still all about imports

I started when I was 15 and me and my dad built his 67 Camaro convertible and then I bagged my S-10 and shaved it before mmy 16th birthday. I have been building trucks and doing minor mods to imports since then and Im 22 now so thats 7 years.

ive started adding mods to my car 1 year ago, but have been modding other cars as long as three years ago. got into the import scene 4 years ago. im still a noob though. :D

I have been working on car and motors in general since I was 4. Raced remote controlled cars back in the day. My mom used to drag race when I was little..so yea...kinda weird but I get it from my mother..lol..so about 17 years...

18 years for me.. Being around rx7's and 3tc toyotas is what got me started...never looked back since..

Well I have been doing this stuff all my life. I helped my grandfather rebuild a 455 in his Riviera. I can not for the life of me remember what year. I did more than hand him wrenches. I was about 10 then. I've rebuilt countless starters and alternators through the years. I've rebuilt brakes,carbs,and rearends with my grandfather. So I'm 35 now so I guess 25 years or so.

Started at 15 by building my first dune buggy (this is not including many dirt bikes before the build), 33 years.
