so his daddy bought him a vette :wgaf: i mean really, whats the big fucking deal? do ppl get that jealous/envious or lose sleep at nite cuz they had to work for things that just get handed out to others? seriously though, that shit happens all the time, get over it. u play with the cards u were dealt, not like anyone can choose what family or financial status they're born into.

theres a difference in things with this kid because people would rather see him in something safe than something hes not going to be able to handle plus in another thread, the way he stated things made it seem like HE paid for the car while being 17 and working 45 hours a week while being 17(not going to happen) to amke it almost seem like he was barely getting by doing it.

Thats why i have a problem with daddy buying a 50k car for a kid that will either ( im almost willing to bet) wreck it or have a speeding ticket in the next 3 months

I only know about subaru of gwinnett through what my friend has experienced through them. Every time he tells me hes going to take his car there I tell him to take it someplace else. Last time he went in, for example, for a new clutch they called him before they started the work and asked him if it was ok to go ahead and do everything, they said it was going to cost around $450. He said ok, just do it. The next day they called and said something came up, they already ordered the parts and started doing the work and he owed them over $1k. If you ask me thats absurd for them to charge him for that shit without asking him if he even wanted the other repairs done.

About the thing with LS2 Kid, my dad bought my car. Im happy he did, I wouldnt have one if he didnt. He made me get a job first but then got me a car. Seems like a fair deal to me. Its not fast or anything but it gets me where I need to go and its a car that I like so im fine with it. If he offered me a corvette I would jump on it right away but it wont happen because even though I am pretty responsible when driving I, just like any teenager, do stupid shit with my car sometimes.

well what he's going to be safe or unsafe in is a matter of ppl's opinion, don't think anyone can really comment unless they know him well personally.

as far as bragging or making it sound like he paid for it, that would be kinda dick. never liked unmodest ppl that boasted about what they didn't work to get.

u dont know him enough at all to know how he drives and are sterotyping that he is going to drive fast simply bc he is young.

you can be just as dangerous in a civic 4 cylinder, u can still be goin a 100 in a 35 and smash into a tree either way. difference is the vette will get up their faster... but if you're determined to be driving like a speed demon

it really won't matter what car you have...

i kno if i had a vette at that age i would be babying it and driving it fast VERY rarely bc i would want to savor the thing
