    Default Prescription prices have gotten crazy

    So i had to goto the doctor today because i pulled a muscle in my lower back and apparently have a sinus infection.

    my doctor (she is a total hottie) gave me skelaxin, lortab, biaxin, duraphen and ib profen 800mg.

    even with the generics the prices are as follows

    40 lortab - 106.89
    30 skelaxin - 36.49
    20 duraphen - 26.59
    30 ibuprofen - 14.69
    30 biaxin - 89.96

    of course i let my insurance lapse (oops) so im getting that back asap. but i've always wondered how much the drug companie are making off of this shit

    yea, the doctors visit was only 84 something.. she gave me a 20% discount.. i couldnt figure out why until i looked at what she gave me and saw the pricetag... i think the total was like 274 something at kroger

    yea, im very glad i didnt buy brand name.. i would've had to give the chick behind the counter oral or something (not that i wouldnt have minded... but)

    30 ibuprofen - 14.69

    why the fuck are you paying like that for OTC meds, when you can buy a bottle of 500 200mg tabs for 5 bucks... just for future referance lol

    yes i know. but there are more fillers in taking 4 200mg tablets than by taking one packed 800. thats why. the fillers are no bueno for you

    only problem is i have a note to miss class because i've only taken half the hemds.. if i take all i'll be in a coma. my teachers, well one wont excuse me but the others will.
