Bodydropped, Everything I would have said has pretty much been said.

Just remember, you HAVE to go on with your life and move on from this girl. For the sake of your sanity and the life of your child.

I've been in similar situations myself and looked at it like this:

You have 2 choices:

1) Keep badgering her, and ultimately ruin whatever chances there were for redemption. And in the process driving yourself insane and messing up your child.

2) Move on with your life. The pain will subside sooner than you may think. You will be less stressed. You will start doing things that you enjoy again. You'll be much happier, and your child will know it. Soon you'll remember the great thing of being single, cause as man you can conquer any woman. The women will start lining up again (damn, I'm starting to miss being single ).
And the most important thing, you will be a better father.

Also, this is the only way you and her could work things out. Once she has had whatever time she needs and sees that you have moved on, she will want you back. Its only a matter of time. But when that time comes, you will have a clearer head and can make a better decision. And hopefully you'll know what to do with her.

Cheating does not automatically award custody to the "non-cheater" but it's a damn good place to start - and you'd probably get better than every other weekend visitation. Basically you would want to prove that her actions are the ones that ended the stable homelife for you and your son, causing you great grief.
