    Default rb20det knocking looking for someone who can rebuild

    Im looking for a trusted (shop) or highly recommended person who could refresh my block...new rings rod bearings...etc...
    I do rb20 and rb25 wiring into s13 and s14's 300.00 shipped 24hr turn around turn ket start guaranteed! PM me for more details!

    The cost to rebuild an rb20 might out weight the price of the engine itself if you have to pay someone to do it. The RB20 really isnt that desirable of an engine, if yours needs rebuilt, it might be time to consider upgrading. Performance wise, the rb20 could be the least power for $ of any common nissan platform, unless you have a particular interest in the rb20, there's better ways you spend your $.

    Sinfix pretty much nailed it. However I have rebuild rb20-26 engines.

    i went with the rb20 cause i got the whole swap for about 500 when it was said and done...(bought non running 240 with it half installed crushed the car for money back in my pocket) im kinda stuck with since have wiring specialties harnesses and stuff i know i wouldnt get my 600 back so no reason in going a different route

    ^Not necessarily. You could part out the usable parts of the block and the harness then use that money towards an RB25 which would be better for you in the long run.
