    Default FS/FT: 89 240sx coupe SR20

    SOLD

Price Drop- $3000 cash firm. I'll also take some nice 18's or 19's plus cash (5x114.3)

I've decided that I don't have time/desire to work on this car. Motor has rod knock. It will start up and drive, but it knocks. A little know how and a small amount of money would make this a nice 240. Or just a spare longblock. I was going to throw another longblock in it, but I'm planning to sell the car anyway so why bother? I'll just sell it now and take less money.

The guy I got the car from is the one who did the swap. I wish I would've saved the pictures of him doing it, but I didn't. Basically he documented the entire swap. He did a very good job and soldered all of the wiring and everything. The shell is a base model. Which is the lightest, of course. Clean Ga title in hand. Right now the car has my stock GTT skyline wheels on it. I want to keep those, but I have some starion wheels that I'll put on the car for the buyer. I need a truck, so that's all I'm interested in as far as a trade go's. Or maybe a bike, but I only ride 1000's so...$3900 OBO.

    VIN: JN1HS34P0KW018281

    The Good
    - Clean SR Swap
    - Pretty clean body and interior
    - 5 lug swap
    - welded diff
    - new Battery relocation.
    - new CXracing Radiator
    - new Godspeed FMIC
    - new Walbro 255lph
    - new lightweight flywheel / clutch
    - new clutch master cylinder/clutch slave cylinder
    - new wiper assembly
    - new stainless 3inch downpipe, full exhaust w/megan racing test pipe.
    - genuine Nismo shift knob
    - Pioneer CD player
    - new turbo timer (installed with a harness, not with splices)
    - new stainless coolant resivour
    - other misc parts, etc...

    The Bad
    - Rod knock
    - very small leak from rear trans seal ($12)
    - some body defects that is expected for a car of this age
    - Car is dirty. It sat while I was stationed in Korea, so it needs a cleaning.
    - battery is dead. I'll buy a new one for the car or the seller can bring they're own and i'll drop the price accordingly.

Haven't really put a lot of thought into what I'll do with it...Haiti needs stuff, I guess I could donate it lol

Not sure how much time is left on the motor. The longer it's driven with a knock, the worse it will make it. I haven't drove the car since the knock started. It will still crank and run though.

How did you get your hands on a skyline? how much did you pay for your skyline? have more pics? PM so I don't clutter your F/S thread.
Kerry Washington would break your heart like a white girl. Just all of a sudden she'd be like, "Yeah, I sucked his dick. Whatever." And you'd be like, "What? We weren't talking about that."

will you go take a video clip of the car?

just a walk around, turn the motor on, footage of it's current condition.

Ya, I will when it stops raining and I have a chance. I took the Skyline wheels off and put the Starions on. I've also stared pulling the interior out to clean it out real good though.

Well I'm not going to lie about it, lol. I'm taking the car to meet up with a buyer tomorrow. If for some crazy reason it doesn't work out, then I'll take a vid and all of that.

And I'm actually thinking it's an issue in the head now. I changed the oil and there was no metal in it. The noise is real fast and sounds like it's coming from the bottom part of the head or something.
