    Default 96' 240sx w/SR20 **$4000**

I got this car recently from a friend in need of money. Its a 1996 240sx SE with a Blacktop (E5) S13 SR20DET. As you'll see below, the car has a good deal done to it but is in dire need of some attention. There are two ways to look at this; one, is for someone to purchase the car, repair the damage and drive it as is (it does have a clear title). Two, someone purchase the car, strip the parts, and reinstall everything on another chassis. Either way it is priced fair enough that you can't get turned around in it. If I don't get serious interest, I'll take the time and strip it myself. If you are interested, call me and we'll go through the whole thing.

    Price is SOLD

I've already compiled a spread sheet of the parts equipped and their part out values. As it sits there is over $6100 in parts... So low offers will not be entertained.

    Modifications: (to name a few)
    S13 Blacktop SR20DET (5 Speed)
    3" Turbo back
    FMIC
    Tial BOV
    Greddy pop charger

    Factory 5 lug
    Z33 17" wheels

actually what happened was a tie rod backed out and he lost control of the car; the car spun into a guard rail, causing the damage you see there.

I plan to give the car about a week. If I don't see serious interest, I will begin parting the car. I'll keep you posted.

Would be very interested in the coilovers and maybe aero if you decide to part out the car.

I will keep you in mind, you do the same.

for everyone else the price is exactly $4000 for a total pickup. I will not go any lower. I will begin stripping this car within a week.

No... There are no problems with the steering geometry. The car actually drives straight down the road fine.

    ^ unnecessary post...

    UPDATE!

I have since pulled the motor and replaced the freeze plug. The car is excellent running condition and I've actually driven the car on two occasions without a single problem. If you are interested in my car, it can be driven home quite reliably.
