    Default FS/FT: '93 Nissan 240SX convertible

Up for sale is my project '93 240SX Limited Edition convertible (leather). Ive owned it for about a year now and enjoyed every minute of it, but its time for me to move on to something else. It has 144k miles on it and runs great. Everything works including the A/C. I just did a 5 speed swap on it and the coupe door conversion on it as well. It is not stock by any means. Things that have been done:

    -Silvia K's front end
    -Silvia steering wheel
    -Silvia trapezoidal trunk lock
    -Silvia floor mats
-conical air filter and MAF adapter
    -NGK plugs
    -Accel wires
    -3" catback exhaust
    -OBX underdrive crank pulley
-mechanical fan delete (electric fan installed)
    -off-brand racing pedals
    -Dojo carbon fiber shift knob
    -new leather shift boot
    -Clarion CD/tape deck
    -4x6" Pioneer front speakers
    -6 1/2" Bazooka rear speakers
    -pre-wired for amp and sub
    -white interior LED's all thoughout
    -white-face gauge bezel
    -smoked red taillights
-Tein HR coilovers (rear), cut springs in front (temporary)
-17x7.5 Drag wheels (looks like Volk CE28N's)
    -8000K H3C HID kit

There are probably a few things missing off of that list, so come take a look at it yourself. Its not perfect, as you can tell from the pics. It will need:

-paint job (paint was faded when I bought it and the front end is mis-matched)

-new top (rear window cracked in a few places and top sags a little, no leaks though)

I just installed the rear Tein's, cloth seats, HID's, 17" wheels, 3" catback exhaust, and OBX underdrive crank pulley. I have a brand new top that will be sold with the car. As an added bonus, Im throwing in EVERY part I have for an S13 and I have tons of them. All in all, very good reliable car. Would be perfect for summertime cruising, or drop an SR/RB in it and go drifting!
$3000 OBO, or trade for something interesting. No V8 trucks, ATV's, electronics, etc. Depending on the car, I may be willing to put some cash with it on my part.

Feel free to e-mail me, or call me at: (770) 820-8092 Bruce. Thanks for looking everyone!

    ATTN!

The pic hosting portion of the site would not load for me, so Im posting these temporarily. Ill swap them over as soon as I can.

Wow. Good price. I've always wanted a convertible 240, and it looks great with the coupe doors.

Questions: 1. What's up with the cut springs/coilover combo? The opposite rake isn't doing great things for the car I'd guess, and you mention it's temporary, so I'm curious about that.

    2. What's the status of seatbelts once you do the coupe doors ? Are there belts in the car ?

    3. Does the motor feel strong ? Anything you can think of that the car needs ?

Thanks and good luck with the sale

    1) When i first bought the car, I cut the springs just to get rid of the four-wheelin' look that it had. Over time I acquired the rear Tein's for cheap, but I've had a hard time trying to find fronts by themselves in my price range, or trying to save up money to buy a full new set. So for now, thats all I have. I know, I know...cut springs are crap. But when you're a broke automotive technician and gas prices are hurting your paycheck, you make due.
    2) You have to mod the rear ones to work for the front. Mine are set up this way already, but I haven't had the time to fine tune all the locations quite yet.
    3) The motor does run strong, except for a slight hesitation when you first crank the car up in the morning. Oh, and I almost forgot: it does need a front crank seal. It leaks a little from there, but a very easy fix. Other than that, good all around car. give me a call if you want to see it in person.

elitekerse, no thanks man. a stock convertible is worth more than that. look up the Blue Book price on it if you want.

car is still for sale or trade as of now.

do you have any rhd conversion parts from the donor s13 to go with the car. and does your car have a good title to hand over at time of sale.

A complete suspension and paintjob could really bring out the life in this car. That's hard to beat for the price. Good luck with the sale!

there was a deposit placed on the car on Friday. it's supposed to be gone tomorrow. if it falls through, then it will be available.

it is a manual. was an automatic. Nissan made all convertibles auto from the factory.
