You cant take me in karts...LOL...that was dumb. And if you mean Black Hills as the kart track, I will go with you, I will show you how to drive son. For a fee.
Hey santacruz, I'll give you $1,200 and no more.
Thats all it's fucking worth.
Just kidding Ian, you know I love you.
teach me? have been involved in cars since I was five. My dad has always worked for some sort of automotive company, from a Lotus dealer, to insurance appraiser.
I started like most drivers, racing karts at an early age and never looking back. At the age of fifteem I raced enduro karts, and at my first race qualified third overall.
Time went on and I still raced karts, and moved into SCCA's Solo 2's class of racing. My first race was not in a race car, but my mom's 1999 Honda Accord, 4 door, automatic, with some mAd Tyght VTAK! I did my best, and had a blast.
I continued karts racing for Red Bull, and even started testing cars such as Porsche GT2 cars at Road Atlanta.
I then bought and built myself a 1989 Honda Civic hatchback. Its early stages were mild. It just had header, open DP, gutted, race seat. Time went on, it was built for road racing, and had a cage, harness, intake, full exhaust, bored out, all the mods for Improved Touring C. Later it got a SOHC JDM D15B VTEC motor for Honda Challenge, but the project was scrapped.
My next car was a 1987 Honda CRX HF. The car was clean for its age. It had a new 5 speed tranny and clutch, K&N filter (carbed motor), lowered on Ground Control coilovers on the back, stock torsion bars up front, aftermarket head lights, that was about it. The car was light enough to beat up some EF's in the corners as long as they were not very modded.
Next was a 1988 Honda CRX Si, it had Skunk 2 suspension, gutted, a/c removed, stage 2 clutch, intake, Apexi exhaust, chipped ECU, short shifter, strut bars, and other things. It was fast though. Very fast for such a small HP car, shows weight matters!
Next was a 1989 Nissan 240SX coupe. It had JWT cam, JWT ECU, intake, header, exhaust, bored tb, some other things. It was ok....
Then I went back to Honda with a 1992 Honda Civic hatch. The EG was an absolute BEAST in the mountains. It had basic mods such as header, exhaust, intake, short shifter, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber duckbill, afermarket wheels on Kumho tires, coilovers on the front, springs on rear, a/c and all removed, etc. It was always on three wheels in the mountains and surprised a lot of people.
Then I went to a KA-T 240sx Hatch. It was a bast until the push rod bearing rolled itself and I have been too lazy to replace the motor.
Now do you want to race me?
If your 18 now, how and who let you test a GT2? When was this? Pics?Quote:
