You are speaking of the current background check system. Was I wrong to assume you meant the expanded checks that also include private sales?

If you are speaking of the current system, it works and needs no changes.

Thats your problem. You can only see as far as the first obstacle. You cant imagine what may be beyond that, and your blinders prevent you from looking for a way around it. If someone tells you they want to ban all guns, all you see is an America where absolutely no one possesses a gun. All guns just disappear, including all of the illegal ones.

I must have typed that somewhere that I believe all guns should be banned, since I clearly remember saying that I've never heard any arguments for a unilateral gun ban at all.

Really? i'll sell you a gun tonight.

    Myth busted, next.

or are you suggesting that it's as enforceable as.... hmm..... lets say....

    drug laws? prohibition?

Sleep safe America, in the democratic utopia of a gun free America, the chances of you encountering a criminal with a gun will be the same as you encountering a kid trying to sell you weed.

Blank thinks like a kid in a perfect world with an honest govt. wake up kid you are sleeping.
Seriously please wake up or reality will knock you off your feet

More govt = less power for people. The same power cant be shared. When "we the people" no longer have the power (guns) the govt can do as they please... For all we know we will, have a curfue for "our safety."
I rather be shot at 3am then be enslaved at home after 12.

Hitlers first step was gun ban.

    WAKE UP KID!!!

It depresses me to see such uneducated people in this country. America needs a constitution class k-12.

Who's gonna teach it? The guy who just said "When 'we the people' no longer have the power (guns) the govt can do as they please" and "Hitlers first step was a gun ban"?

    LMAO

Blank is a lost cause, don't let his profound ignorance frustrate you. I don't get annoyed with blank anymore, my feelings towards him have shifted to pity. It's sad to see someone so lost. It's like Stockholm syndrome.

I bet it feels rather vindicating to have someone posting who is equally as uneducated and proud of it as you are.

I'm vastly more capable and multifaceted than you are. You're not intelligent. You repeat things you hear that accommodate your indoctrinated belief system. Anyone who knows how to copy and paste is on par with your intellect. There's nothing unique or unconventional about anything you think or say. I know what your response is going to be before you type it, although i will say that i don't take much pride in that ability because it's one i share with nearly every other person who participates on this forum. You really are THAT simple. Probably the only thing interesting about you is how misaligned your perception of your own intelligence is. Maybe it's inherent. I don't want to downplay the sociological effect of captivity being a predominant aspect of your culture. You tell me, you're the "psychologist", what's the best way to reintroduce democrats to the free world?

What am i pretending to be? Also, apparently we're not on the same page with what i was implying. You don't "dignify" anything that doesn't fall inline with your own political ideology. You don't think for yourself. Every answer you ever give on any topic is copy and paste from any given far left liberal democrat script. It's funny that you keep proclaiming that i regurgitate fox news when my views are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more diverse than your own and hardly fall inline with conservatism. You just need to portray me that way because that's the only way your scripted liberal responses will apply.

Anyways, "capable and multifaceted" was a speaking towards my education vs yours. You're educated the same way i would educate a monkey or dog. Teach him to do what i want, give him a treat, rinse repeat. You don't actually understand anything and you completely lack logical reasoning. You're just a dog that will sit for a treat, you repeat what you're told without question. If i had to guess, the reasoning behind your political affiliation could be as simple as you liking the color blue more than red. Everything about you is typical. You're a carbon copy of every single pseudo intellectual black democrat i have ever met. Anything that pokes holes in your flawed ideology doesn't get "dignified" with a response, the same way you don't "dignify" any stats or studies that don't fall inline with your ideology. You're a slave to your views and the thought of being let out of the cage terrifies you. Is it inherent? Is the African American's relationship with the democratic party an example of Stockholm syndrome?

My parents were born and raised in a Communist country...the tell-tale signs are very apparent and present to them. It is easy for us Americans to get complacent and accept all that is going around us...it is our " Normal ". It is interesting when you hear what those whom have lived over seas have to say about the current state of our country and what the gov't is doing. None of us here have lived in a communist state...no book or study can truly or accurately paint a picture of what that life is, each individual had different experiences after all. My parents and Grand Parents came here in the early 80's to escape that life and come to the land of the free where the streets are paved with gold and freedom is everywhere...that " ideal " country does not exist to them any more...

On a complete side tangent... and not trying to single any one person out, your post Sin was just the most convenient.

I really hate the word "African-American". If you need to define a person by his color, why not just say it? Not in a derogatory way of course. There's a lady that works in my office that is a true African-American. Guess what?

I agree, i dont like it either. It should be reserved for actual African immigrants and not a skin color.
