Impeachment doesn't mean removal. The war powers act has been violated before with no impeachment. So what do I think will happen? Nothing.
Let Allah sort it out in Syria. Everyone else, pray to whatever god you worship for Obama to be removed from the white house.
Obama is an idiot, it shouldn't even have gone this far in discussions.
Obama won't get impeached if he moves forward with his plans for Syria. He will get a pass, and not "because he's black" either. No President is getting impeached for legally using his Presidential power. As long as he keeps any attack under 90 days, he is within his boundaries, even without Congressional approval.
What is more interesting is what is going on in Congress. Where are all of my anti-war Democrats? What happened? How have they become so bloodthirsty?
Obama is pushing for this simply because he made a bad statement back in 2012, when he made his initial "red line" comment, and the White House aides confirmed it on the second day. Claiming now that it is an "international red line" is a joke, as none of our main group of allies are looking to take action - making this a unilateral action.

I'm not a huge fan of the war powers act, though I do understand its use. I do have a problem with the War Powers Act being invoked after Congress takes the time to debate it, then vote it down.
As far as the anti war democrats, with a change in letters in the whore house, all of their opinions have changed. Just like the GOP opinions have changed since a change in letters.
I think if Congress votes it down, and Obama acts anyway... He should get another Nobel Peace Prize.

This speech by Obama was a historic one. It was the first time that a US President has addressed the citizens, made a case to attack another sovereign country for alleged crimes, and then made a call to action with the action being NOT to attack (inaction).
The world media reported it with different viewpoints, but none of them seemed positive for the US.
