Ugh, I wish both religion and our Government would quit caring about what people do in their bedroom.
So do I - but they aren't keeping it in the bedroom, when they have a "Gay Pride Parade/Festival". You don't see straight people walking around proclaiming, "I'm straight, look at me!", but it seems that some elements of the gay community feel that they have to force others to observe their activities in public.

I don't wanna see a gay pride parade specially when they dress the way they do and act. Why must it be thrown upon the world they are gay to get a parade/march. Leave those for the real and appropriate reasons that have benefits from the events.
A bunch of guys wear leather ass-less chaps and using gag balls with chains walking our streets seriously ?!?!
I dont like how flamboyant *some* gay people are in public, but ultimately i view it the same as i do gun rights.
"freedom is dangerous"... well, freedom is also offensive. We cant have the freedom of expression while reducing that freedom to some specific groups. Having to put up with the dumb shit some people do in public is a necessary evil.
With that said, we also have the right to peaceful protest.... and you cant assault someone for disagreeing with you.
Last time i went to a Marilyn Manson concert there were a bunch of religious protesters holding signs and speaking with megaphones. To my amazement, the crowd was actually really nice to them. A lot of people stopped and had civil conversation with them or asked to take a picture.... i was honestly shocked by the manners of the "manson crowd"

I dont understand how this works. Last time i went to mardi gras there were naked people everywhere. Cops would be standing to side around a sea of naked people. Then every so often they would just go arrest someone at random. There would be 15 girls with their tops off for the last hour, then a cop would just walk over and arrest someone. It was as if they just had a quota to meet of people to arrest.
I dont like the police having the authority to override the will of a peaceful group. For example, if a mother with two 5 year olds showed up at a mardi gras complaining about nudity, i think it would be better to remove the 5 year olds vs arrest the 1000s of people.
I understand the law.... but as always, i wish the law was more accommodating to the will of the people.
First pic of a bikini that popped up. There's no reasonable expectation of privacy on a public street, the same as there is in a public beach, where bikinis are also used.
The feeling you feel when I asked you if girls in bikinis should get charged the same as men and you had to fight with what the answer should be and what you want it to be, that's cognitive dissonance.
I am willing to tolerate this
To protect this
No, cognitive dissonance is what you exhibit on a regular basis. If it was raining, you'd say that it wasn't raining where you were standing because you had an umbrella up. It would still be raining, but you wouldn't accept it.
The simple truth is that there is no "straight pride parade", only a "gay pride parade". A disproportionate amount of gays feel that they have to broadcast their sexual preference to the world very vocally and publically. You cannot argue against that, no matter how much you wish to. With any other group, psychologists would claim that they suffer from a disorder that causes them to need attention, yet here, people want to claim that it is "normal". I simply wish for them to be normal, but behaving in public like normal people, as many gays are quite willing and able to do. I used to do some work for a company completely manned by a gay staff - yet none of them felt the need to broadcast their sexual preference, and all of them kept their business to themselves. Why is that so difficult for others?

Private pools are not public streets.

Taking a soul gathering break.
I would also need a pic with a cop and a story that he chose not to ticket the gay guys. Apples to apples.
But I wasn't asking if they were ticketed, I was asking, in a given situation should a woman wearing revealing clothing be charged the same as a man wearing revealing clothing on the same public street?
Blank you seriously tried comparing people at a pool to gays doing this in public ??!?!
LMAO!!!
