No more proselytizing
My Senior Drill Instructor in bootcamp forced everyone to go to church. Whether I wanted to or not, I was required to go or face punishment. I have absolutely no problem with other leaders facing NJP or even a courts martial for forcing religion, of any faith, on their subordinates.
BTW, massively over dramatized headlines aside, you will never see anyone not in a senior leadership role who has to worry about this.
It annoys me that the current media trend is to encourage and celebrate people telling the world that theyre gay, while at the same time saying people shouldnt speak out about their religion. I dont believe anyone should "force religion".... but if christians want to talk about being christians until theyre blue in the face, more power to them.
It's not about Christians talking about being Christians, its about Christians forcing their religion on others. It's annoying and tactless.
Christianity is constantly used as a filter for judgement, such as the morality of homosexuality.
Gay folks... just want to fuck/marry eachother. Theres a difference.
Did you read Jimmy's example?
When a superior officer forces you to go to church or face punishment for not going. That's my answer.
There is quite a difference between proselytizing and sharing. The article seems to equate the two. I sense poor journalism is afoot.
