What does the Bible Say about the Antichrist?

Now my question to you is this, Do you think the antichrist will introduce himself to the world as the antichrist or will he/she be deceptive? Will the antichrist remain in the shadows or seek some political stage of influence? If the antichrist did seek influence, over which country would he seek it? the strongest country or weakest?

Just curious, the questions are of no relation to current events.

Deceptive. In the public eye, and loved by many. Doesn't mater what country he is "from", he will be seeking a world government. Just read up on it.

Not suggesting anything, simply asking the opinion of Christians. Do they think the antichrist will be a blatantly evil villain who introduces himself to the world as the antichrist or do they think the antichrist will be a charismatic figure who manipulates his/her way into a position of power and influence? The bible says that one world leader will come to power and his deeds and doctrines will expose him, meaning that his presence alone will not reveal him to be the antichrist. He will have global influence and come to power on a platform of peace. So the bible essentially says the antichrist will trick you into supporting him and he will be voted into a position of global influence.

I do not believe in Christianity, so me labeling someone the antichrist would be contradictory.

I'm just curious to how christians feel about this.

I was watching a conspiracy theory video on Youtube once and they were looking at the Bible for information on who the Antichrist would be. They were looking at the Hebrew text and the way they explained it (though some would say it was reaching) was this:

God threw Lucifer from Heaven and it appeared as a bolt of lightning falling from Heaven (anyone ever notice the super evil Nazi party used a lightning bolt as one of their symbols). When that was described in the Hebrew text, it was spelled baw rawk obawmaw or something like that. The details are a little fuzzy in my memory since it's been a while, but I think that's the phrase, which translated to "lightning thrown from a high place" or something like that. Kinda food for thought on the Obama Antichrist theory

If you look at it though, he does fit quite a few of the criteria for the Antichrist, but I personally believe it'll be someone from the Catholic church.
