Yeah, probably wouldn't do anything... but Definitely do think it's intrusive and should either those using them should be be heavily-monitored/held accountable for breaking any laws in their use, or just not to allow them.

Just like the patriot act (which you will soon see) broke all sorts of our liberties (which we were somewhat fooled into accepting) and no one even knows who or why. Who will hold those accountable?

If you're going to do something as intrusive as this, there better be some oversight.

The first time anything learned from a drone is used in court it will be thrown out unless they have a specific warrant.

Obama is just trying to smash as much of The Constitution as he can, including the boldness of Bush, these two fags are just trying to give as much of our Constitution away as possible. I really hate this.

They want to watch you but u cannot watch them, calling you a wiretapper for recording "law enforcement" in a public place, beating your ass and not accepting any reprocussion from their actions. Snuffing u under the NDAA 2012 (if they manage to try it again in a higher court) Patriot Act, as previously mentioned. UGH, what are we doing???

Does this mean you are voting for Romney in November?

Do we even have to vote? How about no one votes for a candidate, and REFORM the government.

I would absolutely love a vote of "none of the above". The sad fact is that nearly 80% of the voting populace is going to vote dem or gop no matter who is running so the best we can do limit the experiment to 1 term at a time.

I would argue that your vote for a third party candidate would have more impact than voting for either of the two major party candidates. Since we all know one vote won't swing the election either way, at least a third party vote could be sending more of a message.

A third party candidate is a joke. As I said, 40% WILL vote for 1 party, 40% WILL vote for the other. Even if a 3rd party candidate got the full 20% of independent voters, they are still a non factor.

I like my other election idea better. List all candidates for a particular post in alphabetical order with no mention of party or incumbency. Could you imagine the turnover from election to election? People would actually have to become halfway informed so they know who to vote for. No more party line votes and no more votes just because he is the incumbent.

That would be an interesting experiment to run. You could probably go out and make it happen today, even though we are in full fledged campaign season and name recognition should be fairly high I'd bet there are still enough idiots that don't know who is with which party.

Just because a third party candidate won't win doesn't make voting for one a joke. If you vote for Romney and he wins, it doesn't mean your vote was any more meaningful than a third party voter's unless you actually believe he may only win by 1 vote.

It does when he has absolutely zero shot at winning an election.

For a third party to emerge it has to start at the local level. Win a few seats here and there in local and state elections. With those wins fund raising and stature will begin to grow. If a third party emerges this year, it will still be 2 decades before they are relevant in a presidential election.

Another question. With as polarized as the country is right now, is a third party even possible? You have nearly half of the voters in this country voting for anyone but Obama, and you have the other half voting for Obama no matter who he is running against.

There's actually a movement to get Gary Johnson on the debate stage, he just has to poll 15% or better. It may not guarantee him a win, but it'll force Obama and Romney to actually discuss issues that matter.

Gary Johnson is a complete joke, which is why he barely made it to into GOP primary debates. I'm sure Obama's people will be pushing their supporters to throw support to Johnson though. Nothing wrong with doing that, its just good politics. In an election Johnson will suck 10x the votes from Romney than he would from Obama. In an election that most people think will be close, even something as small as 2 or 3 million votes spread out among several battleground states could turn a Romney win into an Obama landslide victory.
