    Default Waiting for Superman

Its not new, but as usual I am behind the times. Anyone with school age kids or close family members should watch this.

If you havent heard of this documentary, it is about the poor public schools in this country and the fight to make any meaningful reforms. It also quickly addresses what I believe is the biggest cause of poverty in this country, poor education.

    Yes it was.

Another disturbing part was the guy that tried to fire teachers after they got caught on tape screwing off but was forced to hire them back because of tenure.

I've been meaning to see this for a while. There were some screenings around town but I never made it out. Hopefully its on netflix now. Education is definitely one of the most important issues in our country.
